I’m a guy who believes in transformation.
I’ve experienced it first hand.
I’ve worked and fought and practiced and figured out to the best of my ability who I am and how I got like this… and what I need to do, and not do, to create and sustain change…. to transform my self over and over again to survive and thrive and live the fullest, happiest life possible.
All the self-help books and guru dudes talk about our inner lives– how what we look like and how we dress and what we wear doesn’t matter, that what other people think of us is none of our business… how real recovery and transformation comes from the inside out.
I think this is mostly crap.
The inner work is sacred and vital…. But the outer work is insanely helpful and it seems we’ve forgotten that.
A decade ago I weighed in at over 300 pounds. I’m closing in on half that weight these days. I speak with absolute authority when I say how you look matters– that feeling better about yourself on the outside can be the gateway to get to the deeper inside journey.
I’ve made a career out of changing peoples outer lives… creating beauty and function and ease, and I believe that external changes are foundational to build the confidence and provide the space and inspiration for the essential inner work.
