Last night monk Bhante Sujatha and I held a discussion with a group of people engaged in making spiritual practice relevant in our daily lives.  The topic was on loving-kindness and we shared stories of how to practice, engage, grow and share loving-kindness first with ourselves, then with each other.  We also shared the numerous benefits of a powerful loving-kindness practice.

What I got back I had an email from my friend Ann who’d deeply contributed to our conversation:

Hi Dear,

I was thinking about how we help each other as beings and focused a bit on the loving-kindness workshop from last evening and about my donor and about you and then about all the other stuff (in this world).. And then… I remembered about a quote I sent to a friend just a few minutes ago about how we all need to know this:

“We are each of us angels with only one wing, and we can only fly by embracing one another.”
